Clean and contemporary kitchen design is well suited to a variety of interior styles

Out with the old and in with the new - the aim of this kitchen transformation was to ‘lighten up’. Our client was happy with the layout and functionality of the existing kitchen, but it was definitely 'times up' for the look and finish. The dark fronts, metal handles and glass of the old kitchen all felt a bit weighty and eighties.

The new kitchen, designed by Wayne Church, is an exercise in lightness and balance. The colour palette of white and wood, together with clean, handle-free lines makes for a 'less-is-just-so-much-more' result.

Seemingly simple and understated, this elegant new kitchen really enhances the open-plan space. And despite being a contemporary, almost minimalist design, it will age well and would suit a variety of interior home styles.
