Classic Devonport villa is pure modern on the inside

When the owners took possession of this Devonport villa, it had already been remodelled inside at some point. The kitchen, however, didn’t make the grade for a busy family that was keen on entertaining. Crucially, it lacked an island.

After setting out their vision, designer Wayne Church, developed a layout that opened up the generous space, providing several functional zones, and an all-important island. Materials

 

and style continue the contemporary theme, with integrated appliances, stunning natural oak finishes, and an island top in Trendstone Cal Grigio.

The outcome has greatly enhanced the space, and creates a home that will meet the family’s needs for many years to come.
